In these challenging times playing chess on the real board game has become very rare. So I tray to find ways how to this with the help of video chat apps. But the handling is very complicated and there's the problem of the clock. Therefore the idea is: Play a at the board an transfer the moves (instead of writing them) on lichess where you have started a classical game with increment. There no chess clock problem anymore. Now you run a video chat app simultanously and place your device in the matter that the opponents can see each other sitting at the board. This would not only reduce the danger of cheating (or much more: the danger to get suspected), it would make the play more human. I tried out many of these video chat apps, but I didn't find any, that works fine with alle possible kind of devices an all operating systems - keeping both the chess app and the video stream visible at the same time. WhatsApp (not possible on PC) and Skype don't do the job very good either (not easy to manage).
So why not build in a video-chat function directly in Lichess as there exists already a voice chat function: lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/lichess-voice-chat?page=1
